After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Alfonso Ticho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Italiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Ticho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Lleir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Dionisio Loiola came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Indiana fans jumped to their feet. In the 29thth minute of the game Santiago Peio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Italiano's Isidoro Salamon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Dionisio Loiola notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Club Italiano's Isidoro Salamon. Isidoro Salamon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isidoro Salamon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Peio, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Indiana's Aristides Lleir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Indiana from getting a goal against them. After having played for 74 minutes, Santiago Peio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Indiana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Peio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidoro Salamon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Loiola in the 75th minute of play. After 77 minutes, Esteban Gonzales mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Indiana and the Club Italiano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Esteban Gonzales kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match.
