Clemente Tuste made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Silvio Serafo immediately put the ball in play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Enzo Natal put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, Sergio Lapurdi, was totally fooled by eel trebol's Gonzalo Gelmiro, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Iker Gombal might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saturnino Estevon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iker Gombal ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iker Gombal in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saturnino Estevon saved eel trebol from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iker Gombal made a kick off. Diego Ihazintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Saturnino Estevon made a huge save. The throw-in from Silvio Serafo in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Empoli FC's Emanuel Luke. If Iker Gombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venancio Luzaide might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Lapurdi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Venancio Luzaide ran back to his position shaking his head. Baltasar Cristos struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Sergio Lapurdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Quintun in the 73rd minute of play. Gonzalo Gelmiro got a throw-in 76 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Silvio Serafo. Sergio Lapurdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Bazil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Empoli FC's Iker Gombal in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye eel trebol's goalie prevented a goal.
