In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marpla FC's goalkeeper German Dalmu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximiliano Opilano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Dalmu having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Eloy Bieito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of German Dalmu, 2-0. After 19 minutes, Clemente Locaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marpla FC and the Los Picantes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Marpla FC got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Gaitan. German Dalmu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eloy Bieito's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Gimenez in the 83rd minute of play forced Marpla FC's goalkeeper German Dalmu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
