After 15 minutes, Saturnino Mikolas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting del Rio and the Phoenix Suns players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Sporting del Rio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Mikolas to maneuver through the defense. Florentino Macerio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ceferino Chago showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play. Nereo Sidoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ceferino Chago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 48 minutes, David Oskitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting del Rio and the Phoenix Suns players grew even worse after the yellow card.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto Poncio to make the kick off. If Ceferino Chago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Oskitz was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 57th minute, one of Sporting del Rio:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sporting del Rio. The referee gave Phoenix Suns a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ceferino Chago, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sporting del Rio's Florentino Macerio. 2-0. Lino Fe made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Gaspar Orlandus sent off a good shot on target. Lino Fe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaspar Orlandus in the 69th minute. Gaspar Orlandus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Lino Fe made a huge save. Marco Obano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaspar Orlandus's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Lino Fe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Phoenix Suns's zone, Gaspar Orlandus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Fe came out of the goal and Gaspar Orlandus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ceferino Chago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Suns's Marco Obano got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Phoenix Suns players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
