The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Bonk FC's Gonzalo Tristan in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Núñez FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rogelio Otsando struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Tadeo Peter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bonk FC. Robustiano Bitxintxo charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robustiano Bitxintxo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes Núñez FC got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Bitxintxo. 10 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Tristan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeo Peter. Núñez FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzalo Tristan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Bonk FC's Cipriano Ayala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Bonk FC from getting a goal against them. After 22 played minutes Núñez FC got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Bitxintxo. Gonzalo Tristan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeo Peter having to make a save. Florencio Maurino might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Peter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florencio Maurino ran back to his position shaking his head. Tadeo Peter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Tristan in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Rogelio Otsando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Núñez FC booed when Bonk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Otsando didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Núñez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Tristan came free, but Tadeo Peter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Isias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaston Iratze to make the kick off. Robustiano Bitxintxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Bonk FC's Alvaro Tomi got a free kick in the 54th minute. Gonzalo Tristan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Tadeo Peter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Núñez FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Alvaro Tomi scored to the left of an out of position Tadeo Peter, making the score, 1-2. In the 62nd minute, Rogelio Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cipriano Ayala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Iratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Bonk FC's Cipriano Ayala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Bitxintxo in the 67th minute of play. After 73 played minutes Bonk FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Otsando. Bonk FC's Florencio Maurino got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Tristan in the 77th minute of play forced Núñez FC's goalkeeper Tadeo Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Núñez FC's Tadeo Peter got control of the ball when Gonzalo Tristan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cipriano Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Iratze in the 87th minute of the match. In the 94thth minute of the game Gonzalo Tristan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Núñez FC's Tadeo Peter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rogelio Otsando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Tadeo Peter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bonk FC played a much better game than Núñez FC and deserved their victory. The Núñez FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
