Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nunez Ostadar took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the game, Aquiles Vasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RIVERPLEY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River Plate the free kick. RIVERPLEY's Cayetano Sansone got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aquiles Vasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pierre Simpson made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Cayetano Sansone sent off a good shot on target. Amancio Gelacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Inko having to interfere. Yader Rubial didn't quite understand what happened when in the 25 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Pierre Simpson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Matro, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Domingo Paublo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Pierre Simpson managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when RIVERPLEY's Nunez Ostadar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 33rd minute, RIVERPLEY's Jonas Remicio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jonas Remicio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of RIVERPLEY protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jonas Remicio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in RIVERPLEY fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! Romeo Erramu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, RIVERPLEY's Aquiles Vasco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pierre Simpson. Pierre Simpson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After having played for 45 minutes, Aquiles Vasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RIVERPLEY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Vasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cayetano Sansone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 51 played minutes RIVERPLEY got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Baldovino. Pierre Simpson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Sansone in the 54th minute of play. RIVERPLEY's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fausto Domenec in the 56th minute. Cayetano Sansone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliberto Baldovino kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Erubiel Kaiet made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cayetano Sansone. Everardo Matro struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Pierre Simpson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RIVERPLEY. Fausto Domenec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute Everardo Matro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Simpson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayetano Sansone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Pierre Simpson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquiles Vasco hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute of the match, Ciriaco Quentin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anacleto Inko saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cayetano Sansone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Simpson having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Dario Damario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
