In the 11th minute of the match Amado Guifre shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bonifacio Argina showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Emiliano Justin managed to get in a good position for a shot. IX Brigada's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Justin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfredo Gutierrez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tehuelche F.C's Jose Teofilio in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IX Brigada's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, IX Brigada's Silvestre Toro got a free kick in the 29th minute. Dalmacio Steven struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Bonifacio Argina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tehuelche F.C. Lázaro Cresenciano kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Steven got free with Bonifacio Argina in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Freddy Rosalio came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the IX Brigada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Rosalio couldn't finish the play. Bonifacio Argina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Teofilio's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Dalmacio Steven was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Tehuelche F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Tehuelche F.C's Jose Teofilio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bonifacio Argina. That made the score 1-1 after 48 minutes of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddy Rosalio was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Benjamin Sotil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, IX Brigada's Freddy Mederi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilfredo Gutierrez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tehuelche F.C's Benjamin Sotil got a free kick in the 58th minute. Freddy Rosalio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Tehuelche F.C fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Tehuelche F.C's Jose Teofilio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 67 minutes into the match, Tehuelche F.C's Jose Teofilio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bonifacio Argina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jose Teofilio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the IX Brigada defense, Jose Teofilio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bonifacio Argina. The IX Brigada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bonifacio Argina should have stopped the shot. Jose Teofilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Argina having to interfere. When Tehuelche F.C's Jose Teofilio in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IX Brigada's goalie prevented a goal. Dalmacio Steven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tehuelche F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while IX Brigada had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
