Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Dantae in the 6th minute of play forced Reconquista's goalkeeper Miguel Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelmiro Alfonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Hugo Tipi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Claudio Jakobe, passed just outside the right post. Reconquista's Hugo Tipi got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Tipi struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute Hugo Tipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Jakobe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Dantae, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Reconquista booed when Malvinas Argentinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Kusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malvinas Argentinas's Claudio Jakobe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Tipi in the 25th minute of play. If Segundo Dantae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Leo Kusko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Tipi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Claudio Jakobe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Tipi charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Tipi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugo Tipi hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Segundo Dantae made a kick off. Malvinas Argentinas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Segundo Dantae was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Leo Kusko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malvinas Argentinas's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Kusko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Javiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hugo Tipi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute.
