Spectators: 7194 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roque Cutberto took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Urutaú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Xabat to maneuver through the defense. Anacleto Ledesma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Cefero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ganimedes F.C.'s zone, Roque Cutberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Aires came out of the goal and Roque Cutberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Ganimedes F.C.'s goalkeeper Aureliano Aires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Serafo. Lucio Cefero kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Roque Cutberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Aires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ganimedes F.C.'s zone, Roque Cutberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Aires came out of the goal and Roque Cutberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aureliano Aires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Cutberto in the 26th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Roque Cutberto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureliano Aires was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Roque Cutberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Cutberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aquilino Sancho fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ganimedes F.C.'s protests and gave Aquilino Sancho a yellow card for diving instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Roque Cutberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Aureliano Aires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Aires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Cutberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 57 played minutes Urutaú FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Afonso. Ganimedes F.C.'s Nemesio Chorache couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Urutaú FC. The supporters of Urutaú FC booed when Ganimedes F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Derwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Generoso Balendin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Aureliano Aires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Eufemio struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Anacleto Ledesma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ganimedes F.C.. Anacleto Ledesma was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Felix Eufemio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felix Eufemio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After 83 played minutes Ganimedes F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Martin Tiadoro. Generoso Balendin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Jakue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Aires having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Urutaú FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
