The crowd rose to their feet as Chucuma's Eugenio Cibran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reynaldo Semeno. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. In the 31st minute of the match Silvestre Virila shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benicio Quexal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Segundo Gumaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
