Severo Maule stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uriel Eder's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Pascual Petri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Maule having to interfere. The supporters of Hay equipo booed when Rinconada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Chinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Pes scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santo Lon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Hay equipo's Severo Maule got control of the ball when Tomás Bide tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute, Rinconada FC's Uriel Eder dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hay equipo's goalkeeper Severo Maule, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 46 minutes, Florencio Odilon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hay equipo and the Rinconada FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hay equipo! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Pes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 85th minute, Tomás Bide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uriel Eder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Bide in the 93rd minute of play forced Hay equipo's goalkeeper Severo Maule to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th play minute Alonzo Vimaro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Santo Lon. 4-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rinconada FC had played much better football throughout.
