Godfredo Serapio might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavino Arias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfredo Serapio ran back to his position shaking his head. Gavino Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Rivero in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Arnulfo Iturri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Victoriano Semeno managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when ToCogollo's Fausto Maria fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fausto Maria kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Godfredo Serapio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godfredo Serapio to make the kick off. Guaberto Suarez's late challenge caught a ToCogollo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. ToCogollo's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Eudoxio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Semeno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godfredo Serapio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gavino Arias having to make a save. Gavino Arias made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Leonel Rivero sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute Godfredo Serapio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ToCogollo succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Pikas F.C. had controlled the match.
