Denis Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Martxel in the 4th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolando Txilar during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Norberto Martxel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Sancho was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Norberto Martxel sped through San Martín FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denis Sancho. Lucas Jago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Oier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laureano Pancho having to make a save. After 27 minutes, Valentin Tiso made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. San Martín FC's Denis Sancho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Laureano Pancho acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alonzo Pancho. San Martín FC's Lucas Jago got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Oier kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Desiderio Urdaspal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Jago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Pancho having to interfere.

The wind increased when Lucas Jago made the kick off in the second half. San Martín FC's Denis Sancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Martxel in the 54th minute of play. Valentin Tisos short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Denis Sancho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Melchor Su put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in San Martín FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Estrella Roja F.C.. Pablo Gorbea stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Denis Sancho. 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Estrella Roja F.C.'s zone, Francisco Oier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laureano Pancho came out of the goal and Francisco Oier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentin Tiso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Denis Sancho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Denis Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Martxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Norberto Martxel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentin Tiso kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 78thth minute. Though ot was a great shot San Martín FC's keeper Denis Sancho was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 80 minutes into the match, San Martín FC's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Martxel came free, but Denis Sancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Tiso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Valentin Tiso could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Denis Sancho however easily saved by the left post. Denis Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Martxel in the 85th minute of play. Norberto Martxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabio Clemencin's late challenge caught a Estrella Roja F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Clemencin helped the player get up and apologised. Norberto Martxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Denis Sancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Estrella Roja F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
