The Palmitas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Fabricio Bermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Gumaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 93rd minute of the match Luisito Hernandez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabricio Bermudo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tomas Claude fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Demesio having to interfere. Palmitas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
