Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Atilano Baristo kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tusquitas FC's zone, Isidoro Mercurio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Sindo came out of the goal and Isidoro Mercurio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Salto booed when Tusquitas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Bidari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Sanchez took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristo Sindo. Cristo Sindo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Eduino in the 12th minute of play forced Salto's goalkeeper Haroldo Heriberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Maximino Sanchez came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Salto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Sanchez couldn't finish the play. In the 17th match minute, Tusquitas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Gudesteo to maneuver through the defense. Atilano Baristo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Atilano Baristo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Cristo Sindo to make any attempt to save it. In the 28th minute Atilano Baristo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Sindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Mercurio in the 30th minute of play forced Tusquitas FC's goalkeeper Cristo Sindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Atilano Baristo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Sarracino kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to Tusquitas FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Martin Cordarius hit a great ball. In the 39th minute of the match, Atilano Baristo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristo Sindo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 41 minutes into the match, Tusquitas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Baristo came free, but Cristo Sindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristo Sindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Baristo in the 44th minute of play. Cristo Sindo made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Maximino Sanchez sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Cristo Sindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Sanchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Casimiro Virila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Heriberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Sindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Sanchez in the 57th minute of the match. Atilano Baristo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cristo Sindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Cristo Sindo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristo Sindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Baristo in the 92nd minute of play. Salto's Maximino Sanchez got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
