After a rather tough play, Tacuarendí AFC's Cosme Ted got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 6 minutes, Cosme Ted mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tacuarendí AFC and the Garupá FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cosme Ted kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Garupá FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Birila. Virgilio Bidari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Ixona in the 16th minute of play. If Paulino Dodorol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorio Bernabel during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Garupá FC! Garupá FC's Virgilio Bidari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Froylan in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Ixona in the 30th minute of play forced Garupá FC's goalkeeper Virgilio Bidari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justo Frisco hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Tacuarendí AFC's Severiano Ixona got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feliberto Millano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Dodorol in the 38th minute of play. Garupá FC's Benjamin Birila got his second yellow card of the match in the 39th minute. The referee ordered Benjamin Birila off the ground. Benjamin Birila kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Virgilio Bidari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Ixona, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The referee showed Paulino Dodorol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Melquiades Froylan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Virgilio Bidari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Eleuterio Gorbea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garupá FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Gorbea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgilio Bidari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Ixona, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Severiano Ixona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute of the match Juan Perrando shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgilio Bidari showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Justo Frisco charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justo Frisco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tacuarendí AFC booed when Garupá FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Frisco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Garupá FC defense, Melquiades Froylan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Bidari. The Garupá FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Bidari should have stopped the shot. Tacuarendí AFC's Feliberto Millano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Onofre in the 85th minute of play. Feliberto Millano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebio Onofre went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute, Cosme Ted hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garupá FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
