If Severiano Ixona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Froylan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th match minute, Barsa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Joseph to maneuver through the defense. If Melquiades Froylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Kaxen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Ixona, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 15 played minutes Barsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Froylan. 16 minutes into the match, Barsa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Ixona came free, but Mateo Kaxen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Froylan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severiano Ixona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Kaxen having to interfere. Cosme Ted kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Tacuarendí AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Alfredo Liberto hit a great ball. Gaston Jerico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Feliberto Millano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gualterio Ebardo's late challenge caught a Barsa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualterio Ebardo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Barsa FC booed when Tacuarendí AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Ebardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaudencio Bortzaioriz, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Barsa FC's goalkeeper Mateo Kaxen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melquiades Froylan. Melquiades Froylan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mateo Kaxen came out and tried to block the shot, but Melquiades Froylan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 40th minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Lisandro Gutierrez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barsa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Gutierrez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feliberto Millano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Jerico in the 50th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severiano Ixona was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Melquiades Froylan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacuarendí AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Froylan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mateo Kaxen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Ixona in the 59th minute of the match. The Tacuarendí AFC fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Tacuarendí AFC's Melquiades Froylan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Tacuarendí AFC's Cosme Ted got a free kick in the 66th minute. Gaston Jerico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Lisandro Gutierrez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaston Jerico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Feliberto Millano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Gutierrez got free with Feliberto Millano in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Melquiades Froylan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Walme hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the game's 86th minute Tacuarendí AFC's Juan Perrando took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Mateo Kaxen and thus the score was 3-0. Nicanor Walme's late challenge caught a Tacuarendí AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicanor Walme helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Nicanor Walme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tacuarendí AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
