The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Tauro in the 7th minute of play forced Rancagua Junior's goalkeeper Lorenzo Elorri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Baldovino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Elorri having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Tauro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rancagua Junior's Lorenzo Elorri. Lorenzo Elorri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saverio Petrigai made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Armando Cai sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Adrian Baldovino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Tauro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorenzo Elorri. Rancagua Junior's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Tauro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Maximiliano Tauro put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Lorenzo Elorri. 35 minutes into the match, Rancagua Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Tauro came free, but Lorenzo Elorri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Speedo Bois's Maximiliano Tauro got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Rancagua Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Rufo came free, but Lorenzo Elorri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel Cefero was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Maximiliano Tauro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 57 minutes, Adrian Baldovino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Speedo Bois's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Baldovino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Feliciano Cilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Maximiliano Tauro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Speedo Bois's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Tauro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Elorri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Speedo Bois's Lorenzo Elorri threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximiliano Tauro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leo Rufo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Elorri having to interfere. Lorenzo Elorri was a little too slow when Maximiliano Tauro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-4. If Maximiliano Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Baldovino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Lorenzo Elorri made a huge save. When the match was over Speedo Bois could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rancagua Junior throughout the match.
