Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leonides Lobo got the match started through his kick off. Generoso Mancio was a little too slow when Armando Cai got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Victor Inautzi fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Overlop's protests and gave Victor Inautzi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Overlop's Victor Inautzi got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Rancagua Junior's Evaristo Leheren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Generoso Mancio. Generoso Mancio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 22 played minutes Overlop got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Hermelando. The long shot by Atilano Sansone in the 24th minute really tested Generoso Mancio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Elvio Tristan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenzo Elorri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Gavino Sanduru kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rancagua Junior's Atilano Sansone got a free kick in the 38th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel Cefero made a kick off. In the 54th minute Evaristo Leheren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Mancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Overlop getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Leonides Lobo hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Overlop's Leonides Lobo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lorenzo Elorri. That made the score 2-1 after 79 minutes of play. Leonides Lobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Elorri having to interfere. Rancagua Junior walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
