The referee ignored Choya's protests and gave Aurelio Indar a yellow card for diving instead. Aurelio Indar hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Uriel Errolan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Indalecio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leandro Modestio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Lisandro Matro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Choya's Fidel Viator sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lisandro Matro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Leandro Modestio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lisandro Matro was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, Fidel Viator had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lisandro Matro. The supporters of Choya booed when EL MAGO DE OZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Rivero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisandro Matro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Modestio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Choya's Fidel Viator in 37 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Lisandro Matro guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 40 minutes into the game, Choya's Fidel Viator nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lisandro Matro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Fausto Platon hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, Choya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Indar to maneuver through the defense. EL MAGO DE OZ's Eulalio Camerino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Choya.

The wind increased when Uriel Errolan made the kick off in the second half. Vladimiro Fagondo's late challenge caught a EL MAGO DE OZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimiro Fagondo helped the player get up and apologised. Uriel Errolan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Anier Innocenzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Fidel Viator dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lisandro Matro, 1-3. EL MAGO DE OZ's Lisandro Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Viator in the 71st minute of play. Leandro Modestio struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Lisandro Matro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Choya. 87 minutes into the match, EL MAGO DE OZ's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Viator came free, but Lisandro Matro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes Choya got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Indar. Uriel Errolan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. EL MAGO DE OZ's Uriel Errolan got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
