In the 6thth minute of the game Marko Rydberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL MAGO DE OZ's Lisandro Matro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, EL MAGO DE OZ's Lisandro Matro got control of the ball when Nereo Blasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Rydberg in the 8th minute of play forced EL MAGO DE OZ's goalkeeper Lisandro Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Abelardo Corderro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL MAGO DE OZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Marko Rydberg struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Lisandro Matro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MALVINAS. Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Corderro in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Moises Lico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ter Stegen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Lico in the 28th minute of play. Lisandro Matro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Rydberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. EL MAGO DE OZ's Lisandro Matro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save EL MAGO DE OZ from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute Marko Rydberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Matro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lisandro Matro made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Nereo Blasco sent off a good shot on target. The MALVINAS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. EL MAGO DE OZ were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nereo Blasco made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Marko Rydberg made a precise shot to the right of Lisandro Matro. EL MAGO DE OZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After 57 minutes of play, MALVINAS's Marko Rydberg made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lisandro Matro was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Nereo Blasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, MALVINAS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban Koldo. In the 65th minute, Moises Lico reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ter Stegen. The goal made the score 3-3. After a rather tough play, MALVINAS's Marko Rydberg got a free kick in the 70th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Dante Indalecio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ter Stegen. That made the score 3-4 in the 71 minute of play. Ter Stegen made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Uriel Errolan sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind EL MAGO DE OZ's goalkeeper Lisandro Matro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteban Koldo got free with Ter Stegen in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Moises Lico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Ter Stegen made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in EL MAGO DE OZ's zone, Paulino Gorosti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Matro came out of the goal and Paulino Gorosti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nereo Blasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Matro having to interfere. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Abarca in the 85th minute of play. Nereo Blasco took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lisandro Matro. Lisandro Matro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. Lisandro Matro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nereo Blasco went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-4 was the resulting score. Lisandro Matro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Blasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MALVINAS fans cheered their team off the field, for while EL MAGO DE OZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
