After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Nicolas's zone, Pastor Alvarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolo Federigo came out of the goal and Pastor Alvarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Delmiro Beltxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pastor Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Bartolo Federigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Federigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Benat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nemesio Incendio fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Nicolas's protests and gave Nemesio Incendio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Atlético Nicolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Incendio to maneuver through the defense. Atlético Nicolas's Bartolo Federigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Benat in the 39th minute of play. Bartolo Federigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Alvarez in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Atlético Nicolas's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Alvarez came free, but Bartolo Federigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmiro Beltxe made a kick off. Narciso Benat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Figueroa hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Atlético Nicolas defense, Pastor Alvarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartolo Federigo. The Atlético Nicolas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bartolo Federigo should have stopped the shot. 63 minutes into the game, Atlético Nicolas's Delmiro Beltxe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niceto Raymundo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 67th minute, Paolo Orlandus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Delmiro Beltxe put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Niceto Raymundo. Pastor Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th match minute, Atlético Nicolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Eriz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Beltxe in the 84th minute of play forced Mojigasta's goalkeeper Niceto Raymundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes of play, Atlético Nicolas's Delmiro Beltxe made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niceto Raymundo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roberto Abajas charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Abajas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, Atlético Nicolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Abajas to maneuver through the defense. Bartolo Federigo made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Pastor Alvarez sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, Atlético Nicolas could leave the field as winners, despite Mojigasta having more of the ball for most of the match.
