Deportivo Villa Paez's Tiburcio Millrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Abajas in the 9th minute of play. When Nemesio Incendio fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Nicolas's protests and gave Nemesio Incendio a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Atlético Nicolas got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Incendio. Delmiro Beltxe in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tiburcio Millrick, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tiburcio Millrick made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Delmiro Beltxe sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute, Roberto Abajas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 20 minutes, Delmiro Beltxe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Nicolas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Beltxe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Horacio Venceslao made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Atlético Nicolas's Paolo Orlandus. Tiburcio Eli might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartolo Federigo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiburcio Eli ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute, Paolo Orlandus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tiburcio Millrick. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Villa Paez's goalkeeper Tiburcio Millrick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isidro Salomone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bartolo Federigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiburcio Eli was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Atlético Nicolas's goalkeeper Bartolo Federigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Oliverio. Julian Eriz's late challenge caught a Deportivo Villa Paez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Eriz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Deportivo Villa Paez booed when Atlético Nicolas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Eriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nemesio Incendio came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Atlético Nicolas fans jumped to their feet. After having played for 64 minutes, Nemesio Incendio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmiro Beltxe in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiburcio Millrick saved Deportivo Villa Paez from getting behind. Tiburcio Eli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Federigo having to interfere. After 72 minutes of play, Deportivo Villa Paez's Arnaldo Oliverio made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bartolo Federigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Joaquin Gaitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Beltxe in the 87th minute of play forced Deportivo Villa Paez's goalkeeper Tiburcio Millrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Delmiro Beltxe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Nicolas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Tiburcio Millrick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmiro Beltxe's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. When Roberto Abajas came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Atlético Nicolas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Abajas couldn't finish the play. Tiburcio Millrick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmiro Beltxe went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Atlético Nicolas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
