Baldomiro Cesario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Handi having to make a save. Jimeno Beremundo scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teofilo Dominic, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute, Baldomiro Cesario fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Beremundo in the 20th minute of play forced Chicos de la angustia FC's goalkeeper Teofilo Dominic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Juvenal charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Juvenal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Chicos de la angustia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Juvenal to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Chicos de la angustia FC's zone, Jimeno Beremundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Dominic came out of the goal and Jimeno Beremundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 28 minutes of play, Moreno AFC's Jimeno Beremundo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teofilo Dominic was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teofilo Dominic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Oskarbi, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Jimeno Beremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Jimeno Beremundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Chicos de la angustia FC's Arnoldo Nikola got a free kick in the 35th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Mauro Oskarbi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moreno AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Oskarbi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Jeremias Micael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimeno Beremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Teofilo Dominic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomiro Cesario was the one to do the kick off. Chicos de la angustia FC's Teofilo Dominic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Roano in the 53rd minute of play. Rene Handi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Cloyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Moreno AFC's Rene Handi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Cesario in the 57th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Moreno AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Fonda to maneuver through the defense. Uriel Cloyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rene Handi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teofilo Dominic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Beremundo in the 61st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Moreno AFC defense, Baldomiro Cesario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rene Handi. The Moreno AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rene Handi should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Jonathan Juvenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Oskarbi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gaudencio Roano fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moreno AFC's protests and gave Gaudencio Roano a yellow card for diving instead. Gaudencio Roano hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Baldomiro Cesario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Handi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Uriel Cloyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Baldomiro Cesario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Handi was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Mauro Oskarbi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Chicos de la angustia FC's goalkeeper Teofilo Dominic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimeno Beremundo. Moreno AFC's Mauro Oskarbi got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baldomiro Cesario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Rene Handi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moreno AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
