Spectators: 6755 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 55) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jeronimo Iratxo kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes, Eliseo Dubardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viva Peron and the Barrancas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Barrancas FC booed when Viva Peron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Dubardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisito Bide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Iratxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Viva Peron's Edgardo Kiliz got a free kick in the 6th minute. With a little luck, Viva Peron's Luisito Bide got control of the ball when Venancio Cloyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viva Peron's Albino Sidro got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Iratxo in the 14th minute of play forced Viva Peron's goalkeeper Luisito Bide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Patxi in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Erroman saved Barrancas FC from getting behind. Jorge Patxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Albino Sidro scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeo Erroman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Anastasio Burni fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrancas FC's protests and gave Anastasio Burni a yellow card for diving instead. Anastasio Burni kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Albino Sidro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viva Peron's supporters rose to their feet, but Albino Sidro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeo Erroman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jorge Patxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 minutes of play, Viva Peron's Jorge Patxi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeo Erroman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luisito Bide made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Venancio Cloyo sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Patxi to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Viva Peron's Carmelo Rubio got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Luisito Bide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Cloyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 52 minutes into the match, Venancio Cloyo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Viva Peron's Luisito Bide. Luisito Bide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 56 minutes into the game, Carmelo Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viva Peron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrancas FC the free kick. Carmelo Rubio hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute of the match Anacleto Admon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisito Bide skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Viva Peron defense, Jeronimo Iratxo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisito Bide. The Viva Peron fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luisito Bide should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute, Albino Sidro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viva Peron fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. If Albino Sidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 71 minutes of play Barrancas FC's Anastasio Burni was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Barrancas FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Anastasio Burni hit a great ball. Jorge Patxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Erroman having to interfere. Luisito Bide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Cloyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Cloyo in the 79th minute of play forced Viva Peron's goalkeeper Luisito Bide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Albino Sidro came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Viva Peron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Sidro couldn't finish the play. Venancio Cloyo might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisito Bide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Venancio Cloyo ran back to his position shaking his head. Albino Sidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Amadeo Erroman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Barrancas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Viva Peron were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
