Wilfredo Polentzi hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Gordoneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Polentzi came free, but Maurinho de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Pelagius might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Uriel Chabier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ismael Pelagius ran back to his position shaking his head. Gordoneta FC's Maurinho de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Polentzi in the 14th minute of play. Dalmacio Tipi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Maurinho de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uriel Chabier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celso Lucero in the 20th minute. Saladillo FC's players were relieved. 27 minutes into the match, Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Uriel Chabier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Pelagius. Celso Lucero came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Uriel Chabier could save by the left post. Ismael Pelagius struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Uriel Chabier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gordoneta FC. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celso Lucero made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Lucero in the 53rd minute of play forced Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Uriel Chabier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Urti during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gordoneta FC booed when Saladillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Ler didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Celso Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Oriche in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uriel Chabier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes into the match, Saladillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Lucero came free, but Uriel Chabier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Pelagius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Uriel Chabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cipriano Raebert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Chabier having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Celso Lucero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uriel Chabier was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ismael Pelagius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gordoneta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Pelagius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Chabier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celso Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celso Lucero scored 3-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uriel Chabier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Gordoneta FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
