If Nunez Celino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 played minutes Viva Peron got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Rubio. Nunez Celino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Luisito Bide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Viva Peron's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jorge Cordaro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 11 minutes into the match, Viva Peron's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Cordaro came free, but Luisito Bide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisito Bide made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Nunez Celino sent off a good shot on target. If Jorge Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nunez Celino spun around in front of the goal 25 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Viva Peron's goal. Nunez Celino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusebio Telmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Patxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Jorge Patxi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castelar's Eusebio Telmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nunez Celino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Luisito Bide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Albino Sidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Viva Peron's Albino Sidro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eusebio Telmo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Albino Sidro got free with Eusebio Telmo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Castelar's Eusebio Telmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Patxi in the 56th minute of play. Benigno Roland's late challenge caught a Viva Peron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benigno Roland helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Castelar's Benigno Roland got a free kick in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Jorge Patxi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusebio Telmo was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Baldomero Eron took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eusebio Telmo. Castelar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jorge Patxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Telmo having to interfere. Nunez Celino struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Luisito Bide didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castelar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fidel Daunte during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Viva Peron getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Fidel Daunte hit a great ball. Albino Sidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Eusebio Telmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 75th minute of the match Benigno Roland completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Benigno Roland a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Benigno Roland kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Viva Peron's Edgardo Kiliz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Eliseo Dubardo fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viva Peron's protests and gave Eliseo Dubardo a yellow card for diving instead. Eliseo Dubardo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Carmelo Rubio charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carmelo Rubio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Carmelo Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Castelar's Nereo Fidele broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
