Cornelio Rodriguez might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Ixaka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cornelio Rodriguez ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to CEDEM getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Apolo Guillelmo hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Apolo Guillelmo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CEDEM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Apolo Guillelmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Ixaka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Rodriguez in the 22nd minute of play. Cornelio Rodriguez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Ixaka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Cornelio Rodriguez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Primitivo Firmin kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Apolo Guillelmo came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the CEDEM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Guillelmo couldn't finish the play. Alcaraz FC's Francisco Ixaka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Rodriguez in the 33rd minute of play. Francisco Ixaka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Rodriguez in the 35th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Alcaraz FC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Pedroso. CEDEM were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Alcaraz FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edgard Senen took the corner. Narciso Pedroso hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41stth minute of the game Cornelio Rodriguez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alcaraz FC's Francisco Ixaka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lorenzo Truylos to make the kick off. If Lorenzo Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 59 minutes on the clock, Marcos Pudes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alcaraz FC! When Apolo Guillelmo came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the CEDEM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Guillelmo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Alcaraz FC's zone, Apolo Guillelmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Ixaka came out of the goal and Apolo Guillelmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Francisco Ixaka managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when CEDEM's Apolo Guillelmo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Francisco Ixaka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Rodriguez in the 73rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apolo Guillelmo got free with Francisco Ixaka in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th match minute, Alcaraz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Galo to maneuver through the defense. Apolo Guillelmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Ixaka having to interfere. If Cornelio Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Cornelio Rodriguez managed to get in a good position for a shot. CEDEM's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Rodriguez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Ixaka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Apolo Guillelmo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Ixaka was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 94 minutes into the match, CEDEM's Cornelio Rodriguez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Ixaka narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
