The audience was convinced that Efrain Bortzaioriz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulgencio Lluques was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. 8 minutes into the game, Raul Rayman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Andycobe FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piedritas c.f. the free kick. In the 9th minute of the match Ildefonso Nuno sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fulgencio Lluques skillfully saved the ball. Efrain Bortzaioriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Fulgencio Lluques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efrain Bortzaioriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Piedritas c.f.'s Dionisio Garci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Mano in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Gaston Lazcano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piedritas c.f.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Andycobe FC the free kick. The supporters of Andycobe FC booed when Piedritas c.f. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Lazcano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes Andycobe FC got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Cresenciano. After a defensive mix-up in Andycobe FC's zone, Efrain Bortzaioriz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Lluques came out of the goal and Efrain Bortzaioriz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulgencio Lluques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Efrain Bortzaioriz's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 31st match minute, Piedritas c.f. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Lazcano to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efrain Bortzaioriz in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulgencio Lluques saved Andycobe FC from getting behind. When Efrain Bortzaioriz came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Piedritas c.f. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Bortzaioriz couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efrain Bortzaioriz in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulgencio Lluques saved Andycobe FC from getting behind. Fulgencio Lluques came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Piedritas c.f.'s Diego Jerardo. But to his dismay, Diego Jerardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Efrain Bortzaioriz made the kick off in the second half. Diego Jerardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fulgencio Lluques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Jerardo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Bortzaioriz in the 68th minute of play forced Andycobe FC's goalkeeper Fulgencio Lluques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piedritas c.f.'s Efrain Bortzaioriz got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Efrain Bortzaioriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fulgencio Lluques made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Diego Jerardo sent off a good shot on target. Efrain Bortzaioriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Lluques having to interfere. Efrain Bortzaioriz struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Fulgencio Lluques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piedritas c.f.. Piedritas c.f. played a much better game than Andycobe FC and deserved their victory. The Andycobe FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
