Rodolfo Txaran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateo Primeiro having to make a save. In the 37th minute, Martin Fernandes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Primeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. If Juan Teodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Txaran made a kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Joker F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! 56 minutes into the match, Joker F.C's goalkeeper Mateo Primeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Fernandes. In the 60th minute, Leopoldo Bela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Joker F.C defense, Maximino Abecia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Primeiro. The Joker F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Primeiro should have stopped the shot. 64 minutes into the game, Maximino Abecia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Brillanté's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Joker F.C the free kick. Maximino Abecia hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Brillanté's goalkeeper Gonzalo Arce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Sazon in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Arce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 72 minutes, Martin Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Brillanté's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Nicolas Sazon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joker F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. With a little luck, Joker F.C's Mateo Primeiro got control of the ball when Martin Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club Atletico Brillanté's Rodolfo Txaran got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
