Güemes AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Visca Lepra the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Javier Mano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Edgardo Selmo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 17thth minute of the game Javier Mano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Visca Lepra's Domingo Chorche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 18 played minutes Visca Lepra got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Taurino. In the 19th minute, Angelo Urki made a precise shot to the right of Domingo Chorche. Visca Lepra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 24th minute, Güemes AFC's Casimiro Celino seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Casimiro Celino the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Güemes AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Casimiro Celino had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Güemes AFC! Domingo Chorche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Urki, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Clodoveo Baudelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Osoitz having to interfere. Domingo Chorche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Urki in the 35th minute of the match. After 40 minutes, Feliberto Orixe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Güemes AFC and the Visca Lepra players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Güemes AFC! The supporters of Visca Lepra booed when Güemes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clodoveo Baudelio made a kick off. If Angelo Urki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Visca Lepra's goalkeeper Domingo Chorche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Urki. After a defensive mix-up in Güemes AFC's zone, Clodoveo Baudelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Osoitz came out of the goal and Clodoveo Baudelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clodoveo Baudelio scored 3-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergio Osoitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 68 played minutes Visca Lepra got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Baudelio. After a rather tough play, Güemes AFC's Omar Olivar got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Ladislao Gines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Selmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Osoitz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Güemes AFC's Javier Mano got a free kick in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Visca Lepra getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Eleuterio Taurino hit a great ball. Edgardo Selmo might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Osoitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Selmo ran back to his position shaking his head. After 88 played minutes Güemes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Gines. Visca Lepra's Fermin Ellande couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Güemes AFC. In the 91st minute Edgardo Selmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Osoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Selmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Visca Lepra's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
