Spectators: 7060 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Clodoveo Baudelio made the kick off which started today's match. Juan Ponciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Ponciano struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Domingo Chorche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maderas AFC. The audience was convinced that Clodoveo Baudelio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victoriano Leoiar was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmiro Cordero during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Delmiro Cordero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Visca Lepra's Carmelo Ishmael got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes, Maderas AFC's Pedro Berasko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Domingo Chorche came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maderas AFC reached it. Eleuterio Taurino's late challenge caught a Maderas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eleuterio Taurino helped the player get up and apologised. Edgardo Selmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Leoiar having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Maderas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Gaur to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Maderas AFC's Juan Ponciano got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 42ndth minute of the game Clodoveo Baudelio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maderas AFC's Victoriano Leoiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Selmo in the 47th minute of play forced Maderas AFC's goalkeeper Victoriano Leoiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Visca Lepra were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Ponciano to strike the kick off in the second half. Victoriano Leoiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Baudelio in the 57th minute of play. Domingo Chorche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Ponciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Gaston Laurgain took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingo Chorche. Domingo Chorche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Juan Ponciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Selmo got free with Victoriano Leoiar in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Maderas AFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Benigno Hermon hit a great ball. After 77 minutes, Leo Frederico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Visca Lepra and the Maderas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Visca Lepra:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maderas AFC:s goal. The referee gave Maderas AFC a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pedro Berasko, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Visca Lepra's Domingo Chorche. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Baudelio in the 89th minute of play forced Maderas AFC's goalkeeper Victoriano Leoiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Gaston Laurgain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maderas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Laurgain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Maderas AFC's Gaston Laurgain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingo Chorche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maderas AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Visca Lepra for a fine match.
