The supporters of Cucullú FC booed when Burzaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Ferrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cucullú FC's goalkeeper Leonel Unax, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 19 minutes into the game, Burzaco's Ubaldo Henry nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonel Unax made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Cucullú FC's Saul Michael got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Salvador Peruxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cucullú FC's Leonel Unax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Henry in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Ubaldo Henry notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Cucullú FC's Leonel Unax. Leonel Unax was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonel Unax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Baldomiro Isias fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cucullú FC's protests and gave Baldomiro Isias a yellow card for diving instead. Burzaco's Wilfredo Eduino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Ugaitz in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Ubaldo Henry left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Burzaco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ubaldo Henry to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ubaldo Henry made a precise shot to the right of Leonel Unax. Cucullú FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Salvador Peruxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burzaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Peruxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Unax breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salvador Peruxu ran back to his position shaking his head. Burzaco's Vinicio Ferrando quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Amador Rosario, made in the 66th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Cucullú FC defense, Ubaldo Henry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Unax. The Cucullú FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Unax should have stopped the shot. After having played for 71 minutes, Salvador Peruxu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burzaco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Peruxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baldomiro Isias was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 81st minute, Baldomiro Isias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Salvador Peruxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burzaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Peruxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Unax breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Cucullú FC's Leonel Unax got control of the ball when Ubaldo Henry tried to sneak it across the goal line. Burzaco's Vinicio Ferrando managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amador Rosario in the 87 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Peruxu in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonel Unax saved Cucullú FC from getting behind. Leonel Unax was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Salvador Peruxu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 90 minute of play. After 93 minutes, Hugo Otsando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cucullú FC and the Burzaco players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Burzaco booed when Cucullú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position.
