Villarreal F.C's Modesto Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Ioritz in the 17th minute of play. Artemio Tadzio's late challenge caught a Villarreal F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artemio Tadzio helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Yacuy AFC got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Tadzio. Aureliano Ramone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Pudes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27thth minute of the game Gerardo Pudes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yacuy AFC's Aureliano Ramone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The attack was good, but when Gerardo Pudes in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 46th minute, Julio Ioritz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Aureliano Ramone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Pudes in the 53rd minute of the match. Justino Presebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Modesto Cutberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Presebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Yacuy AFC's goalkeeper Aureliano Ramone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cipriano Cordarrell. Modesto Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Presebal in the 63rd minute of play. After 67 minutes of play, Villarreal F.C's Cipriano Cordarrell made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aureliano Ramone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cipriano Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Aureliano Ramone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Ramone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Pudes in the 74th minute of play. Modesto Cutberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Presebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Justino Presebal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modesto Cutberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Modesto Cutberto came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Yacuy AFC's Julio Ioritz. But to his dismay, Julio Ioritz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 92 minutes into the match, Villarreal F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Ioritz came free, but Modesto Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedicto Lehen charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedicto Lehen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd match minute, Villarreal F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Lehen to maneuver through the defense. Julio Ioritz struck a weak shot in the 95th minute.
