An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Asur in the 11th minute of play forced Malvinas FC's goalkeeper Samuel Ramone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Iker Policarpio fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Horqueta's protests and gave Iker Policarpio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Horqueta getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Iker Policarpio hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauricio Kimetz in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Gomesano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute, Malvinas FC's Paulino Celipe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paulino Celipe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Malvinas FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paulino Celipe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 37th minute, Paulino Celipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Horqueta's Carolo Oliverio got a free kick in the 40th minute. Alfredo Caradaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Horqueta's goalkeeper Guaberto Gomesano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Mauricio Kimetz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Guaberto Gomesano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th minute, Francisco Asur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Horqueta's Guaberto Gomesano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Fero in the 70th minute of play. When Mauricio Kimetz came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Malvinas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Kimetz couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the game, Mauricio Kimetz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Guaberto Gomesano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfredo Caradaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauricio Kimetz took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guaberto Gomesano. Guaberto Gomesano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Guaberto Gomesano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Caradaro in the 88th minute of the match. When Mauricio Kimetz came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Malvinas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Kimetz couldn't finish the play. Mauricio Kimetz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guaberto Gomesano having to make a save. The supporters of Malvinas FC booed when Horqueta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Asur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casimiro Emmanuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malvinas FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
