Rene Perfecto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Clemencin having to interfere. Las Marietas FC's Valentin Urtungo got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danilo Evangelista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Ariel Froila when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Danilo Evangelista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Froila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Evangelista in the 18th minute. Valentin Urtungo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ariel Froila came out and tried to block the shot, but Valentin Urtungo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. Valentin Urtungo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ariel Froila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Evangelista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Hacker's zone, Valentin Urtungo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Froila came out of the goal and Valentin Urtungo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute Valentin Urtungo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Froila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Evangelista struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ariel Froila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Las Marietas FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Edelmiro Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hacker's supporters rose to their feet, but Edelmiro Gartzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Clemencin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Edelmiro Gartzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Valentin Urtungo made the kick off in the second half. The Las Marietas FC fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Las Marietas FC's Danilo Evangelista looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 68th minute, Danilo Evangelista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Valentin Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Leonides Baraquiel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Las Marietas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hacker the free kick. After 76 played minutes Las Marietas FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Baraquiel. After having played for 80 minutes, Rene Perfecto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hacker's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Perfecto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edelmiro Gartzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Las Marietas FC's Claudio Clemencin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Las Marietas FC from getting a goal against them. Claudio Clemencin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Perfecto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Rene Perfecto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hacker's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Perfecto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
