The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aaron Kinsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Don Torcuato FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonzalo Shantala to make the kick off. Gonzalo Shantala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Chorche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Kinsen having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Catella Fubol Club's Martin Llorienzo got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 74th match minute, Catella Fubol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Geofredo to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Lon kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 84 minutes, Evaristo Ofelio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Don Torcuato FC and the Catella Fubol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Catella Fubol Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Don Torcuato FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
