Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonzalo Shantala to make the kick off. Severino Canor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Gogo Saturnin made a huge save. After 55 minutes of play, Paisanos's Angelino Resto made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
