After having played for 3 minutes, Casimiro Peio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atl. Macia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casimiro Peio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Eustaquio Urbez fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paisanos's protests and gave Eustaquio Urbez a yellow card for diving instead. Atl. Macia's Aquiles Illan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Resto in the 12th minute of play. When Casimiro Peio fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atl. Macia's protests and gave Casimiro Peio a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Atl. Macia got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Peio. Paisanos's Angelino Resto got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Casimiro Peio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gogo Saturnin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Handi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Paisanos's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Sengrat came free, but Gogo Saturnin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Veto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gogo Saturnin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ramon Handi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paisanos's Gogo Saturnin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Veto in the 25th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Teodosio Etor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paisanos and the Atl. Macia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Paisanos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! 31 minutes into the game, Atl. Macia's Casimiro Peio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gogo Saturnin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 34th match minute, Atl. Macia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Guillelme to maneuver through the defense. Paisanos's Angelino Resto got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramon Handi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Casimiro Peio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atl. Macia's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Peio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Saturnin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramon Handi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Atl. Macia's Aquiles Illan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Francis in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Francis in the 53rd minute of play forced Atl. Macia's goalkeeper Aquiles Illan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aaron Sengrat came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Atl. Macia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Sengrat couldn't finish the play. Melquiades Resto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gogo Saturnin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Ramon Handi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Saturnin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gogo Saturnin came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Atl. Macia's Casimiro Peio. But to his dismay, Casimiro Peio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Paisanos's zone, Ramon Handi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Saturnin came out of the goal and Ramon Handi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Aaron Sengrat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ramon Handi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gogo Saturnin was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Casimiro Peio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atl. Macia's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Peio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Saturnin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramon Handi might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gogo Saturnin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramon Handi ran back to his position shaking his head. Christian Cuarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Saturnin having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Paisanos's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Handi came free, but Gogo Saturnin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ramon Handi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Paisanos's Gogo Saturnin got control of the ball when Casimiro Peio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Paisanos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atl. Macia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
