Macia's Aquiles Illan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Telesforo in the 23rd minute of play. Aaron Sengrat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Villarreal FC's Julian Christobal got control of the ball when Melquiades Resto tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Alejandro Telesforo fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Melquiades Resto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian Christobal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Ramon Handi struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Julian Christobal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atl. Macia. After a defensive mix-up in Villarreal FC's zone, Melquiades Resto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Christobal came out of the goal and Melquiades Resto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Victoro was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Atl. Ramon Handi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Christobal having to interfere. Aquiles Illan made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Florencio Victoro sent off a good shot on target. Macia's goalkeeper Aquiles Illan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Telesforo. Ramon Handi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Ramon Handi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atl. Macia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 80 minutes of play, Atl. Macia's Ramon Handi made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julian Christobal was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Villarreal FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Anselmo Laurgain hit a great ball. Christian Cuarto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atl. Macia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Adrian Abalos placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Atl. Macia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
