The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arnaldo Peter's late challenge caught a FC Rustico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Peter helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Panzer Xeneixe getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Arnaldo Peter hit a great ball. Baltasar Haritzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Leonel Nuxila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Angelo Oxarra sped through Panzer Xeneixe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonel Nuxila. After 24 played minutes Panzer Xeneixe got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Olo. FC Rustico's Jesus Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Peter in the 29th minute of play. Enzo Lore scored 2-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Nuxila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Romeo Batista dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leonel Nuxila, 3-0. A collision led to Panzer Xeneixe getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Angel Arias hit a great ball. Leonel Nuxila made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Baltasar Haritzeder sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Oxarra was the one to do the kick off. Romeo Batista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonel Nuxila having to make a save. When Arnaldo Peter was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. Arnaldo Peter kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Baltasar Haritzeder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Rustico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Romeo Batista took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonel Nuxila. Leonel Nuxila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. After 71 played minutes Panzer Xeneixe got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Txatxu. After 72 played minutes, FC Rustico's Erubiel Enaut shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonel Nuxila came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Rustico reached it. After having played for 73 minutes, Baltasar Haritzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Rustico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltasar Haritzeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 74 played minutes Panzer Xeneixe got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Txatxu. Basilio Txatxu charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basilio Txatxu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Panzer Xeneixe got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Txatxu. Romeo Batista took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonel Nuxila. Leonel Nuxila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Oxarra in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonel Nuxila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baltasar Haritzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Leonel Nuxila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Rustico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
