In the 9th minute of the match MobyDick FC got a corner. Ben Hur's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeremias Elivareo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Marcos Diagur to score against Constantino Balasi in Ben Hur's goal. 1-0 after 10 minutes. If Evelio Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafin Tibalt kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Fermin Joanes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantino Balasi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 34 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Bieito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ben Hur's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MobyDick FC the free kick. A collision led to Ben Hur getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Maximiliano Bieito hit a great ball. Ladislao Sugar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Mel in the 41st minute of play forced MobyDick FC's goalkeeper Ladislao Sugar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Ben Hur got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Ritchie. 47 minutes into the match, Jeremias Elivareo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Constantino Balasi. Ben Hur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Elivareo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Mel was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to MobyDick FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Alejo Ferran hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Alvaro Ritchie sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and MobyDick FC's Ladislao Sugar didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, MobyDick FC's Alejo Ferran got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Evelio Vargas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Ladislao Sugar made a huge save. Marcos Diagur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Balasi having to interfere. Ben Hur's Constantino Balasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Bazil in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute Fermin Joanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Balasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match Roman Ortzi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Constantino Balasi skillfully saved the ball. Jeremias Elivareo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Gerardo Mel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ben Hur's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Mel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ladislao Sugar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Ortzi in the 89th minute of play forced Ben Hur's goalkeeper Constantino Balasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ben Hur getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Serafin Tibalt hit a great ball. Fermin Joanes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Alvaro Ritchie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ben Hur's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MobyDick FC the free kick. After 96 played minutes Ben Hur got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Ritchie. Marcos Diagur struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Constantino Balasi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MobyDick FC.
