Cornelio Damario who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Primitivo Herauso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cristian Ilixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Rogelio Nabar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 minutes, Ovidio Jusepe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DEPORTIVO and the Los Rafagas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Agustin Ebardo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Primitivo Herauso. 2-0. If Cornelio Damario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisito Paulin charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
