Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jairo Manuelo kicked off to start the match. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jairo Manuelo sped through Maciel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnaldo Chaime. Domingo Gauekos short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Tadeo Gaxan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Arnaldo Chaime made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Ortle in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Manuelo in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Chaime prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Domingo Gaueko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeo Gaxan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match Prospero Fonda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo Chaime showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tadeo Gaxan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Colas, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A hard shot 40 in the game by Domingo Gaueko from a close distance when the talented Tadeo Gaxan managed to make a qualified save. Quilmes Athletic club's players were relieved. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severiano Colas made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Fernando Ortle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quilmes Athletic club's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Ortle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Chaime breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute Domingo Gaueko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Ralondo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Arnaldo Chaime showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Manuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Quilmes Athletic club players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
