Cirilo Cesario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Bermund having to interfere. Mauricio Bermund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Sedeni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Leandro Micael fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.BOCA JUNIORS's protests and gave Leandro Micael a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A.BOCA JUNIORS! 12 minutes into the game, El Principe F.C.'s Tsubasa Ozora nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauricio Bermund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Benigno Bihar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcomillo Paez having to interfere. Eleuterio Macerio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Narcomillo Paez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mauricio Bermund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Sedeni in the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C.A.BOCA JUNIORS's Nicanor Eleazar got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Cesario in the 24th minute of play forced C.A.BOCA JUNIORS's goalkeeper Mauricio Bermund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to C.A.BOCA JUNIORS getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Amado Mendez hit a great ball. Mauricio Bermund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Cesario, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Mauricio Bermund came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by El Principe F.C.'s Cirilo Cesario. But to his dismay, Cirilo Cesario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 44 minutes, Evaristo Pello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Principe F.C. and the C.A.BOCA JUNIORS players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cirilo Cesario was the one to do the kick off. Rafael Ponc kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. El Principe F.C.'s Venancio Sedeni got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th match minute, C.A.BOCA JUNIORS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Oinatz to maneuver through the defense. If Cirilo Cesario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.BOCA JUNIORS's zone, Venancio Sedeni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Bermund came out of the goal and Venancio Sedeni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicanor Eleazar hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Manilan charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Manilan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, El Principe F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Manilan to maneuver through the defense. Benigno Bihar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Narcomillo Paez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes C.A.BOCA JUNIORS got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Oinatz. El Principe F.C.'s supporters stood up full of expectation in the 76th minute of the game, when Rigoberto Manilan after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of C.A.BOCA JUNIORS's goal. Rigoberto Manilan was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. In the 78th minute, Venancio Sedeni made a precise shot to the right of Mauricio Bermund. C.A.BOCA JUNIORS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. If Armando Sergi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Venancio Sedeni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauricio Bermund. C.A.BOCA JUNIORS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Venancio Sedeni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. With a little luck, C.A.BOCA JUNIORS's Mauricio Bermund got control of the ball when Venancio Sedeni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauricio Bermund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Cesario, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. El Principe F.C. played a much better game than C.A.BOCA JUNIORS and deserved their victory. The C.A.BOCA JUNIORS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
