Molinos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elpidio Maraman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Laureano Berbiz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 18 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sergio Gabirel was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Sergio Gabirel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Molinos AFC's Elpidio Maraman got a free kick in the 24th minute. Zeledon Edur hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Laureano Berbiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Gabirel having to interfere. In the 30th minute of the match, Laureano Berbiz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sergio Gabirel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sergio Gabirel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Fliz in the 44th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Laureano Berbiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergio Gabirel was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julio Rivero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Berbiz in the 62nd minute of play forced Molinos AFC's goalkeeper Sergio Gabirel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Luciano Abadia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DEPORTIVO ZAETA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Laureano Berbiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Berbiz in the 89th minute of play forced Molinos AFC's goalkeeper Sergio Gabirel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Molinos AFC's zone, Luciano Abadia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Gabirel came out of the goal and Luciano Abadia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
