The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anier Fernendo during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, La Humildad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Fernendo to maneuver through the defense. Abel Justin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hilario booed when La Humildad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Petri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Jordy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Abel Justin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Orlan couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Federico Medina to strike the kick off in the second half. Fermin Haitz kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Abel Justin came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hilario's Federico Medina. But to his dismay, Federico Medina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lucas Rufo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Alfredo Confesor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Humildad. Emiliano Orlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Emiliano Orlan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Confesor was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. When Hilario's Mariano Jordy in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Federico Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 81 minutes, Federico Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hilario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Medina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abel Justin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Jordy's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Mariano Jordy might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Justin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Jordy ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th minute Federico Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Justin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Orlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Confesor having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Lucas Rufo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Hilario's Alfredo Confesor. Alfredo Confesor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucas Rufo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Alfredo Confesor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The La Humildad players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
