Lino Veremundo came out of the goal and Mariano Jordy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute Federico Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Veremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Hilario's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Vincente came free, but Alfredo Confesor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dream Team's Lino Veremundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Dream Team from getting a goal against them. Federico Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Veremundo having to interfere. Jacobo Pueblo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Hilario's Federico Medina got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Hilario fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Hilario's Federico Medina looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alfredo Confesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Iztal in the 26th minute of play. Alfredo Confesor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabio Vincente's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Albano Iztal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dream Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Iztal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Confesor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Vincente, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The supporters of Dream Team booed when Hilario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Cai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albano Iztal struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Alfredo Confesor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dream Team. In the 46th minute, Tomas Cai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fabio Vincente made the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Confesor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Vincente, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ulises Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st match minute, Dream Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Iztal to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Dream Team's goalkeeper Lino Veremundo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Jordy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Lino Veremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Jordy kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Dream Team's Albano Iztal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Confesor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 85 played minutes Hilario got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Benvido. After having played for 86 minutes, Albano Iztal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
