Maximo Vigil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Los pibes del notting's Thiago Pis got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jonathan Bertol came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Guandacol AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Bertol couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the game, Los pibes del notting's Thiago Pis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximo Vigil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Maximo Vigil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Jaume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgencio Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Los pibes del notting getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Anselmo Heli hit a great ball. Thiago Pis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Vigil having to interfere. Thiago Pis might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximo Vigil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Bertol in the 47th minute of play forced Los pibes del notting's goalkeeper Quade Kesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Bertol to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Jorge Jaume got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thiago Pis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximo Vigil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Jorge Jaumes short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Maximo Vigil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thiago Pis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66thth minute of the game Thiago Pis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guandacol AFC's Maximo Vigil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Jaume struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Maximo Vigil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los pibes del notting. Jeremias Gaizkine kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Roque Bembe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quade Kesi was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Thiago Pis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Guandacol AFC's zone, Jorge Jaume stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Vigil came out of the goal and Jorge Jaume tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximo Vigil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Pis in the 81st minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Ladislao Kiliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Jaume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Maximo Vigil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Guandacol AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Pis came free, but Maximo Vigil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Guandacol AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los pibes del notting were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
