The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Inguma during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Calmucó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Inguma to maneuver through the defense. Donato Quinton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Anibal Urdaspal didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Calmucó's Anibal Urdaspal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Stephen in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Calmucó getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Sebastian Firmin hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Calmucó defense, Donato Quinton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anibal Urdaspal. The Calmucó fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anibal Urdaspal should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Calmucó booed when Mulitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Quinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Inguma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Enrique Pirmin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Pirmin came out of the goal and Santiago Inguma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrique Pirmin was a little too slow when Ariel Leizarraga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 2-1. Mulitas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
